Moto G100

Motorola unveiled the Moto G100 on 25 March 2021(globally) but it is expected to launch in India in the coming weeks.   


The upcoming Moto G100 will come with the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 octa-core processor(7nm) along with an Adreno 650 GPU. Notably, the new G100 will have 5G support as the chipset has a 5g modem. The smartphone will come with a 6.7 inch IPS LCD display, FHD+(2420*1080)pixel resolution, and a 90Hz refresh rate, 560 nits brightness. The phone will be available in three color options that include Iridescent Sky, Iridescent Ocean, and Slate Grey. For capturing photos and videos, it has a Quad camera setup at the rear carrying 64 MP main camera+ 8 MP + 2MP + and a time of flight(TOF) sensor. Additionally, it comes with a dual-camera setup(16MP + 8MP) for selfies.  

Google Pixel 6

The Tech Giant will be going to expand their Pixel series soon with the Google Pixel 6 series. The series comes with two phones that include Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro. Google has recently announced that the Pixel 6 series will power by the Tensor(Google’s first custom-built SoC specifically for Pixel phones). One of the latest leaks showcases the new design of the Google Pixel 6 series and it will likely come with an under-display selfie camera.  

Google Pixel 6 is not expected to be huge but will come with a 6.4 inches Full HD+ AMOLED punch-hole display whereas the Pro variant comes with a curved 6.67 inch AMOLED punch hole panel.  Google Pixel 6 series will be one of the first smartphones to ship with the latest stock Google OS – Android 12.  Apart from using computational photography leveraging machine learning and AI processing to click excellent images; Google will be using Dual cameras in the pixel 6 and Triple camera setup in the pro version and a single front camera will be hidden under the display.  It comes with 8 GB of DDR4 RAM and has 128 GB of internal storage. Additionally, Pixel 6 will be IP 68 rating and is dust and waterproof. The phones will come with an approx 4000 mAH battery with both fast wired as well as wireless charging support.  Google Pixel 6 series will launch in the second half of 2021 and there is a lot of time for us to get more details.  

Mi Mix Fold  

Xiaomi’s Mix series is back with the amazing smartphone which is a Mi Mix Fold. This is a foldable phone that’s launched on 30 March 2021.  
Let’s talk about its specs: 
                         The internal display of the Mi Mix Fold comes with an 8.01 inch flexible OLED display along with a WQHD+ resolution including a 60Hz refresh rate, and 900nits peak brightness. Additionally, the external display comes with a 6.5 inch AMOLED display that comes along with a (2520*840)pixels resolution including a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 900nits brightness. Powering the Mi Mix Fold smartphone is a flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor(5nm) and comes with an improved GPU.  
It operates on an MIUI 12 based on an Android 10 operating system. At the rear, it has a Triple camera setup carrying a 108MP primary camera, an 8MP 123-degree ultrawide angle lens, and a 13MP third camera.  For selfies, it has a 20MP front-facing camera.
 The Mi Mix Fold has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for unlocking and security. Furthermore, it packs with a 5020mAH battery that has a support of 67 Watts fast charging(charge the phone from 0%-100% in just 37 minutes).  

Mi Mix 4 

 Xiaomi had organized a special event in China on 10 August 2021 where it unveiled the brand new Mi Mix 4 and it is also Xiaomi’s first commercial pho2ne that comes with an under-display camera. 

 Let’s have a look at the specs of Mi Mix 4: 
                             Starting with its innovating front camera, the Mi Mix 4 comes with a 20MP under-display selfie camera that gives a premium look to the phone from the front side.  
Additionally, it offers a Triple camera setup at the back that carries a 108MP(f/1.9) main camera, a 13MP(f/2.2) ultra-wide lens, and last is an 8MP(f/4.1) telephoto lens that can able to shoot 8k videos at 24fps, and 4k videos at 30/60fps.  
For multimedia, the Mi Mix 4 features 6.67 inches AMOLED display with FHD+(2400*1080)pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
  Powering the cell is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+(improved version of Snapdragon 888) fabricated on a 5nm chipset along with an Adreno 660 GPU.  
The Mi Mix 4 operates on an MIUI 12.5 based on the Android 11 operating system.  It has stereo speaker support for a good sound experience and it is also IP53 certified which means protection from dust and water.  
However, The phone comes with an under-display fingerprint sensor and also has face unlocking support. 
 For long-lasting usage, it is fueled with a 4500mAH Li-Po battery that comes with a 120 Watts ultrafast charging support, and 50 Watts fast wireless charging support.  

Huawei P50 Pro

 Huawei is planning to launch the new Huawei P50 Pro in the coming months and there are few details available about the device so far.
     The Huawei P50 Pro is expected to come with a curved edge display. The phone will come with a 6.63 inches panel with a 1200 x 2640 pixels resolution. The phone will also have support for HDR 10 and 120 Hz refresh rate.

Powering the P50 Pro is the Kirin 1020 Octa-Core processor (upcoming) made from 5 Nm technology and can offer a significant boost in gaming and multi-tasking performance.

 The phone will support 5G technology and this will be one of the fastest processors from Huawei that will rival the SD 870 and SD 888. The P50 Pro 40 Megapixel lens, 16 MP (Telephoto lens), and a 40 Megapixel ultrawide lens. 

Lastly, P50 Pro will come with a 4500 mAH capacity battery and has a 65 Watts charger, and will also have wireless charging support.

Samsung Galaxy S22 (Flagship)

 Samsung Galaxy S22 is the upcoming premium smartphone by the brand and will be going to be a successor of Samsung Galaxy S21 which was launched earlier this year.

It has a 1500nits peak brightness and 120Hz refresh rate. 
 Powering it is the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+(5nm) octa-core processor, clocked at  2.99 Ghz. 
 Additionally, there is Adreno 660 GPU for gaming and graphics-intensive tasks.  The upcoming phone operates on OriginOS 1.0 based on the Android 11 operating system that we have seen in the Vivo X70 series.  
Camera details – Triple camera module is set at the rear carrying a 50MP primary camera, a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 16MP telephoto lens that surely captures stunning photos moreover also records an 8K video at 30fps.

Nokia 10 (5G)

The upcoming Nokia flagship may be called Nokia 10 and it will come with 5G support.
